During April's Minute-for-Mission, Community Center for Immigrants (CCI) Exectuive Director Caitlyn Lewis interpreted the important work CCI does to help local immigrants navigate the federal immigration system. By offering supportive services under one roof, CCI helps people secure their legal status, continue their education, access better jobs, and move forward with greater stability. Immanuel's "Habitat Team" invites you to help build this year's Presbyterian Coalition Habitat for Humanity Home. This year's home is at 1236 N. 24th Street and there are two upcoming opporutnities to help: Saturday, May 16 (8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) - wall panelizing at the Habitat warehouse; and Saturday, June 6 (8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) - for framing at the home site.
