Interim Pastor
The Rev. Randall K. Bush, Ph.D.
The Rev. Dr. Randy Bush is serving as Immanuel's interim pastor during this season of pastoral transition. He came to Milwaukee in April 2024 after completing an interim ministry term at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church in Severna Park, MD. Dr. Bush also served two long-term pastorates in Racine, WI and Pittsburgh, PA, as well as short-term assignments in Zimbabwe, Kansas and Missouri, before moving into Transitional Ministry in 2022.
He has degrees from the University of Kansas, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Marquette University, and he and his wife Beth have two young adult children, Ian and Charlotte.

Associate Pastor
The Rev. Robert W. Ater
The Rev. Robert W. Ater came to Immanuel Church in 2004. A primary focus of his ministry is the invitation and integration of new members into the life of the congregation. He also provides pastoral support to the Membership Committee, Mission Committee, Information Technology Committee, and the Board of Deacons. Rev. Ater currently serves on the boards of Southeastern Wisconsin Common Ground and the national NEXT Church organization.
He has degrees from Franklin College, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Rutgers University.

Associate Pastor
The Rev. Teresa A. Larson
The Rev. Teresa A. Larson was called to Immanuel in September 2020. The focus of her ministry is multigenerational Christian education and formation and congregational life. In addition to leading the Immanuel Church School, Rev. Larson provides pastoral support to the Church School and Adult Education committees. She also supports the work of the Parish Life Council, the congregation's hospitality and events team. Rev. Larson is the chair of the Committee on Preparation for Ministry of the Presbytery of Milwaukee.
She has degrees from Alma College and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Organist
Steven J. Jensen

Steven presides over Immanuel's magnificent pipe organ with artistry that spans the entire spectrum of organ repertoire. Steven brings Immanuel's historic 1881 Hook and Hastings organ to life each Sunday - an instrument that's undergone three major renovations and is now considered an "American Classic" with 77 ranks. Beyond regular worship, Steven offers mini organ recitals during special events, sharing the incredible musical heritage housed within our beautiful sanctuary. His musical ministry helps connect our congregation to both the rich traditions of sacred music and the contemporary expressions of faith that make Immanuel special.

John S. Komasa

John brings both expertise and heart to Immanuel's musical ministry as our skilled conductor and professional voice teacher who understands that great words set to great music have their impact multiplied tenfold. Whether we're preparing traditional or contemporary hymns, John guides our voices to create worship experiences that truly help us lift up our hearts in praise and thanksgiving.

Crystal Stinemates
Behind every smooth-running program at Immanuel, you'll find our organized and detail-oriented program administrator, Crystal. She helps coordinate everything from our front office to adult education classes and special events. With a knack for bringing people together and keeping all the moving pieces in sync, she ensures our community focuses on what matters most - growing in faith and serving others.

Custodian
Nathan Wesselowski
Nathan, our dedicated custodian keeps Immanuel's historic building beautiful and welcoming for everyone who walks through our doors. From maintaining the campus to ensuring spaces are ready for everything from Sunday worship to community events, Nathan takes pride in caring for this sacred space. You'll often find him making sure every corner of our church reflects the warmth and hospitality that defines our Immanuel community.

Financial Administrator (Part-time)
Sarah Campbell
Sarah, our finance administrator, helps ensure that Immanuel's generous spirit is matched by responsible stewardship. She manages the financial details that allow our church to support meaningful outreach, maintain our historic building, and invest in programs that strengthen our community. Her careful attention to our resources helps us live out our values of serving others with compassion and generosity.

Program Coordinator
Cassie Olson
Cassie brings energy and creativity to connecting people across our congregation. Whether she's organizing fellowship opportunities, coordinating volunteer efforts for our community outreach, or helping organize The Peaceable Kingdom Sundays, she has a gift for seeing where people's passions and our community's needs intersect. Cassie helps make sure everyone at Immanuel has opportunities to belong, learn, grow, and serve.

The Nominating Committee
The nominating committee is elected annually, five members from the congregation-at-large, two members from the Session (one of whom is the chair), one member from the Trustees, and one from the Deacons.
The pastor is an ex-officio member without vote. This committee nominates officers for the above governing bodies.
Ruling elders (Session) and Deacons are nominated and elected at the Annual Program Meeting of the Congregation in May.
Trustees are nominated and elected at the Annual Financial Meeting of the Congregation in January.
