The Christmas Joy Offering has been a Presbyterian tradition since 1931. It offers an opportunity to extend the joy of Christmas to retired church workers with special needs for help and to support students of color at schools and colleges related to the Presbyterian Church (USA). Tippecanoe Presbyterian Divine Intervention Ministry NEEDS YOU!
“Tippe” hosts their “Divine Intervention” ministry every year from Dec 1 through Mar 31. This program provides emergency overnight shelter for those experiencing homelessness. Also provided is a nightly dinner. Volunteers are needed to bring in a dinner for 25-30 guests, serve it and clean up, and share hospitality with the folks there. Food and Fund Drive for Interchange Food Pantry
As tariffs take effect, grocery prices rise, and federal food assistance programs are slashed, Interchange Food Pantry is launching a drive for donations to help feed Milwaukee families. There are two ways to help: Donate food: canned fruits, vegetables, soups, baked beans, and pasta sauce are most needed. A food collection bin is in the Astor Street Coat Room.
