During April's Minute-for-Mission, Community Center for Immigrants (CCI) Exectuive Director Caitlyn Lewis interpreted the important work CCI does to help local immigrants navigate the federal immigration system. By offering supportive services under one roof, CCI helps people secure their legal status, continue their education, access better jobs, and move forward with greater stability. In five years, CCI has served more than 2,500 immigrants, worked with over 600 students, and celebrated 500 new U.S. citizens. Immanuel members and friends are invited to volunteer as tutors, resource navigators, or legal assistants, or by sharing your professional skills.
