Volunteer with Literacy Services

On August 23, Amaya Barker, Volunteer & Special Projects Coordinator from Literacy Services of Wiscsonsin (LSW) offered a Minute for Mission during morning worship. A longtime Immanuel mission partner and leading adult education provider with eight locations in Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Racine, LSW programming supports the wide range of academic goals of students, which might include learning to read, obtaining a high school credential, increasing language fluency, improving numeracy for workforce needs, and/or preparing to enter post-secondary or a skilled trade. LSW invites volunteers to work with adults to improve their basic reading, writing, math and English language skills.
