Music Director sought

Immanuel Presbyterian Church is seeking a Music Director to lead our vibrant adult Chancel Choir and enrich the worship life of the congregation. POSITION SUMMARY: The Music Director of Immanuel Presbyterian Church is responsible for leading and nurturing the church choir, while fostering a spirit of worship for all ages through classical and religious music programming. This person will work with a strong adult Chancel Choir comprised of both compensated section leaders and non-compensated volunteer singers, as well as assist in musical programming and offerings for all ages and the congregation at large. This is a part-time, salaried position requiring a passion for music, a collegial spirit, strong leadership and organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the theological significance of worship through music in the Presbyterian tradition.
