Tippecanoe Presbyterian Divine Intervention Ministry NEEDS YOU!

“Tippe” hosts their “Divine Intervention” ministry every year from Dec 1 through Mar 31. This program provides emergency overnight shelter for those experiencing homelessness. Also provided is a nightly dinner.

Volunteers are needed to bring in a dinner for 25-30 guests, serve it and clean up, and share hospitality with the folks there. Volunteers are also needed to be hosts to oversee the shelter during the overnight hours. Overnight volunteers have a private space to sleep for 5 hours and be an “awake presence” for 5 hours. Please consider these opportunities.

You can sign up today in the Upper Room and are invited to shadow any of the experienced volunteers before you actually commit if that would be helpful, especially for the overnight responsibilities.
