About the event
On Wednesday evenings during Lent we will gather at tables in our common church home for a simple supper of soup and bread at 6:00, followed by a brief service of evening prayer and the Lord’s Supper around the tables. After supper and table worship, we’ll share in table conversation and learning together.
Tonight's Theme: Testimony in the Neighborhood + Book launch event for Becoming Neighbors by Amar D. Peterman
Amar Peterman is a constructive theologian working at the intersection of faith and public life, and is currently a PhD student at the University of Chicago’s Divinity School. In his book set to be released on March 12, explores how the common good can be cultivated through the practice of neighborly love. Immanuel is pleased to host this special book launch event in partnership with Kairos Collective, a New Worshiping Community of the Milwaukee Presbytery.
