About the event

On Wednesday evenings during Lent we will gather at tables in our common church home for a simple supper of soup and bread at 6:00, followed by a brief service of evening prayer and the Lord’s Supper around the tables. After supper and table worship, we’ll share in table conversation and learning together.

Tonight's Theme: Testimony as Hope + Realistic Optimism and Emotional Intelligence

Philip Chard is a local psychotherapist and national recognized speaker, trainer, and writer known locally from his weekly column, “Out of My Mind” published in the Shepherd Express. Immanuel is delighted to welcome Mr. Chard back to Immanuel for a presentation on the psychology of emotional intelligence as it relates to holding a hopeful, optimistic frame of mind.
