Candlelight procession and the Services of Light, Reaffirmation of Baptism, and The Lord's Supper
The Great Vigil of Easter begins in darkness. Worshipers enter the sanctuary, lighting candles, until the room is filled with light and the first proclamation of the resurrection is heard.
From ancient times, this was the time that new Christians were baptized, and we follow that tradition.
We celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.
A brief Coffee Hour follows the service.
