Remembering Christ's final hours
A rather dramatic service, the account of the crucifixion is read and sung, candles on a candelabrum are extinguished. At the conclusion of the service the Sanctuary is dark except for the Christ candle. It is an acute experience of the suffering wrought by human sin, and a call to forgiveness and hope.
