From the Holocaust to Civil Rights

All are welcome to hear the story of three sisters making a pilgrimage to Germany and France to retrace their grandmother’s murder during the Holocaust. The Simon sisters (Debbie, Joanne, and Chris) will discuss how this history influenced their father, the Rev. Dr. Carl R. Simon, in his lifetime commitment to work for civil and human rights, and how their family story continues to influence their commitments today. A former executive of the Presbytery of Milwaukee, Dr. Simon was a longtime local Presbyterian minister.
