Dr. Sara VanderHaagen, Immanuel member and Associate Professor of Communication and affiliated faculty in the Department of African and African Diaspora Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), will share reflections on her recently published book about how Black American women have employed rhetoric to uplift Black communities and critique other dominant narratives.
