The Day of Pentecost is the day that the Church celebrates its birthday –

the day we recall the coming of the Holy Spirit to the first disciples of Jesus Christ,

fifty days after his resurrection.  

 

It is our tradition at Immanuel Church to celebrate Pentecost with our annual Pentecost Party.  All are invited to enjoy a light lunch, complete with “Fruit of the Spirit” salad, and a birthday cake for the Church!  We will also give thanks for the ministry of our 2022-23 Church School teachers.
