"A Different Way To Do Christmas"
Enjoy a special kind of shopping this Christmas,
and discover the joy of giving gifts
that spread the good news of
Jesus' birth in a hungry and hurting world.
Since 1995, Immanuel Church has offered a different way to do Christmas, through our annual Alternative Christmas Market. This year, an “alternative” Alternative Christmas Market is planned again for “Giving Tuesday,” November 30. The online event not only gives the Mission Committee more time to process online orders, but it also fits perfectly with the spirit of Giving Tuesday, a global movement to balance the consumerism of Black Friday and to encourage people to give, to collaborate, and to celebrate generosity.
We’ll be doing all three at Immanuel on Giving Tuesday as we celebrate God’s generosity that inspires us to give in ways that serve others and collaborate with our mission partners. Join us at 7:00 p.m., as we gather on Zoom for a panel presentation. Each of the organizations represented will give a brief (3-5 minute) presentation about their work and how our gifts will be used to help others. Following the presentations, participants will have a chance to join the presenters in small groups for questions and to gather more information.

Gift (greeting) cards are recommended for sharing and interpreting your gift. Each gift card will include a place for you to fill in the name of the gift and organization and also an insert to describe the organization being supported by the gift. Gift cards will be mailed out in plenty of time for Christmas for all orders received in the church office by December 10.
