This year's 3rd of July Fireworks Picnic will be a “BYO” bring-your-own picnic tailgate style event, due to the retirement of our longtime caterer.  Though this tradition will look a little different, we will still gather for an evening of fellowship and fireworks!  Please bring your own picnic, drinks and supplies.  The parking pass donation will help cover the cost of decorations and some special holiday treats.

Arrive from 6:00 to 6:30 and plan to picnic from 6:30 to 8:00, followed by a Patriotic Organ Concert at 8:00 (thank you Organist Steven Jensen) while we await the Independence Day fireworks display over Lake Michigan at dusk.

Parking permits (one per household) will be available from members of the Parish Life Council for a suggested donation of $10.00 during the coffee hours in June.  Please plan to make your donation when signing up.  E-mail the church office or sign-up on Sunday mornings in June.

 

Glow-in-the-dark bracelets and necklaces will be provided for children (and their friends); please refrain from displaying your own fireworks (including sparklers) on church property. Invite a friend to join you at Immanuel for these special holiday offerings.
