Matthew's Gospel tells of "the very large crowd" that greeted Jesus
as he entered Jerusalem on a colt saying,
"Hosanna to the Son of David!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest heaven!’” Matthew 21:8-9
On Palm Sunday, 2023
begin your journey through Holy Week at our annual
Upper Room Meal.
Join the palm-waving procession of children to our own “Upper Room,” where we will enjoy a first-century meal of bread, fish, olives, dates, figs, eggs, and goat cheese; hear stories from persons who knew Jesus; and learn about the origins of the Lord's Supper as we share this holy meal around our tables.
