CHRISTMAS WORSHIP SERVICES
Registration is open for December 24, 25, 26

Christmas worship will be shared both *in-person and online this year.

The 2021 December calendar brings a full weekend of Christmas worship services, and we are grateful to be able to gather both in person and online this year to celebrate the holy birth.  An additional service has been added this year on Christmas Eve to accommodate the larger number of worshipers we welcome on that night.

Covid-19 protocols* remain in place for in-person worship and all services will be live streamed and recorded.

 

CHRISTMAS EVE  Friday, December 24 at 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Scripture, carols, candle lighting; vocal music by Kathryn Henry

Dr. Block preaching, “The Face of Jesus Christ”

These will be identical services; however, following the 8:00 service,

members of the Immanuel Chancel Choir will offer an outdoor choral postlude at the southeast entrance.

                       

CHRISTMAS MORNING  Saturday, December 25 at 10:00 a.m.

Scripture, carols, readings, and the Sacrament of Holy Communion;

                Vocal music by Kathryn Henry    Bring a bell to ring!

 

CHRISTMAS SUNDAY  Sunday, December 26 at 10:00 a.m.

Christmas continues!  Vocal music by Kathryn Henry;

Ms. Larson preaching.  Church school will resume on January 2.

 

The coffee hours that have been a special part of our Christmas celebrations are on hold this year.

                       

*Advance registration is required for all services; maximum capacity for social distancing in the Sanctuary may fluctuate as community health metrics change.  Masks are required.  All staff and member volunteers have full vaccination status. Ushers will make every effort to seat worshipers in family units. Please arrive early for check-in and seating.
