Celebrating Our 175th Anniversary

Carroll University Sunday, February 12

One of the features of this special year will be the celebration of relationships that have been an important part of Immanuel’s story.  Next Sunday, February 12th has been designated as Carroll University Sunday.  The “Pioneer College” was founded in 1846, the first college in Wisconsin.  On February 12th the Carroll Concert Choir will be in our loft and the president, Dr. Doug Hastad, will be in our pulpit.  Other faculty, staff, trustees, and friends of Carroll will be our guests and Immanuel members who are faculty, staff, and alumnae/i will be recognized.  The pastor of Immanuel Presbyterian Church has traditionally served as a trustee of this Presbyterian-related institution.  Our pastor emeritus, William H. Johnstone, served on the board for over 20 years; Dr. Block has served since 1997.
